Golden Beach

They said Golden Gate Bay couldn't be tamed. Four years later, the longest suspension bridge on earth opened to the public.  As the gateway to the Pacific Ocean, the sweeping cables and tremendous towers of the Golden Gate Bridge have been a symbol of San Francisco ever since.

This photograph was taken in February 2001 from Bakers Beach.  Capturing fine detail, the image is available as a Big!Picture -- if you love San Francisco, a 36"x84" (3 ft by 7 ft) canvas will grace a large wall in your home or office.
